Roman’s Chicago Showroom Moves to New Location
Roman will be relocating it’s showroom in the Chicago Merchandise Mart to suite 13-600, located in the north-east corner of the 13th floor. The move comes at the request of the Mart, as they consolidate gift and seasonal permanent showrooms onto one floor.
“We were able to implement changes to our showrooms in other markets that greatly improved the display of our product,” says Sally Murphy, Director of Merchandising at Roman. “While inconvenient, the move has allowed us to reassess every aspect of our Chicago showroom, from product displays to entertaining customers. We can make some positive changes to the layout and structure that will make the Chicago shopping experience much more enjoyable” added Murphy.
Construction in Roman’s new space begins shortly, and will be completed in time for the Chicago summer gift show (July 19 – 25). The move will also relocate Roman’s subsidiaries, Cottage Garden Collections and Alexa’s Angels, to the new showroom (13-600). A ribbon cutting ceremony and cocktail party will be held during the show, with the exact date and time to be determined.
