Savvy Shopper: Bargains, Unique Items At Tin Roof
Take a peek inside the Tin Roof and you’ll find items such as an antique Bavarian sleigh table and a caribou trophy head.
“It is the thrill of the hunt,” said store manager Brooke Harwood. “People are still looking for a neat treasure or a bargain.”
Harwood said that explains why business at the furniture and consignment store has been good since opening Feb. 1 at 2418 Battleground Ave.
The store is more than 2,000 square feet and has five rooms filled with furniture, artwork and collectibles.
Some of the more unusual items for sale include a pair of zebra-print chairs and a 1930s Asian two-drawer serving table.
