Seattle Gift Show adds Hall-of-Fame quarterback Warren Moon to lineup

Warren Moon, Hall of Fame quarterback and color commentator for the Seattle Seahawks Radio Network, will give the keynote address for the Seattle Gift Show, which takes place at the Washington State Convention Center Aug. 15-18, 2015.

Calling upon his experiences on the football field and in the business world, Moon will motivate Seattle Gift Show attendees with tips for building a business, establishing a brand, standing out from the competition and overcoming challenges from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. This keynote joins a full roster of educational sessions designed to help retailers maximize their sales and marketing efforts for the all-important third and fourth quarters.

Moon, 58, played college football at the University of Washington and then professionally in the Canadian Football League before joining the NFL’s Houston Oilers in 1984. He went on to play 17 seasons in the NFL for the Oilers, Minnesota Vikings, Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Moon is also president and co-founder of Sports1Marketing and is active in many charitable endeavors including his own organization, the Crescent Moon Foundation.

Moon’s program headlines a full schedule of educational seminars offering proven marketing strategies and product sourcing opportunities. All programs are open to attending retailers at no cost. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional programs include:
