Shelley’s Gift Shop is an online retailer based near Richmond, Virginia. The gift shop features curated products, which are handcrafted by local and national small businesses. Customers enjoy a selection that includes unique jewelry and even delicious local preserves.

Shelley Evans, founder and owner of Shelley’s Gift Shop has two employees and enjoys collaborating with other businesses. At this time, she shared she has not experienced any issues with sourcing products for her online store.

When asked what the most requested product in the store’s inventory is, she noted that soy candles were at the top of the list.

Evans shared details about her journey. “I’m autistic! I am in the process of writing an op-ed about being a late diagnosed autistic (age 29) and what it is like living with autism. It’s a large part of why I went into business for myself and in my opinion, the creativity behind the store.”

Evans hopes to open a brick-and-mortar location in the future, but has not yet decided on the specific site for the store.
