Fairhaven, MA – In the heart of Fairhaven, just blocks from Fort Phoenix and the Fairhaven Bridge, lies a portal to Europe — or at least to plenty of specialty items from that continent, as well as a number of locally-oriented gifts.

Part IKEA, part New England village shop, the Euro Ship Store at Phoenix offers a great deal of imported European products, comprising a large supply in one space. Owner Gail Isaksen of Fairhaven says a combination of strong customer service and unique, varied inventory draws customers from SouthCoast and elsewhere to her store on the corner of Center and Main streets in Fairhaven.

“A lot of the customers actually come from out of the area,” Isaksen says, noting that some of the products at Euro Phoenix are not offered at many other stores.
