Shoppe Object, Gift for Life partner for Los Angeles wildfire relief auction
In a continued effort to support those impacted by the devastating wildfires in Southern California, ANDMORE’s Shoppe Object, in partnership with Gift for Life, will host a Los Angeles wildfire relief “chance auction” during the upcoming Shoppe Object event, Feb. 2-4, 2025, at New York City’s Starrett-Lehigh Building.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit World Central Kitchen (WCK), whose 50 meal distribution sites across Southern California have delivered more than 200,000 meals to Los Angeles communities from Feb. 8 to 21.
“As the wildfires and their aftermath continue to devastate parts of Southern California, we feel an urgent responsibility to support those, including our fellow retailers and exhibitors, who have been affected by this crisis,” said Jesse James, founder of Shoppe Object. “This auction in partnership with Gift For Life and World Central Kitchen is a tangible way for us to come together as a community to help provide immediate relief to those in need.”
Shoppe Object exhibitor-donated items, each with a minimum retail value of $100, will be showcased in a special exhibit area on the 4th floor of Shoppe Object’s new, two-story exhibition space. To date, nearly 150 exhibitors have already confirmed participation and the list of auction items continues to grow. Highlights include:
