Shop til you drop?
Women prefer to shop alone.
While this will be good news to men, it was recently discovered that 89 percent of women say they are more pleasant shopping alone or with their children than with their partner, according to a recent study conducted by designer outlet chain McArthurGlen.
Fifty percent of those women admitted it drove them crazy when their boyfriend, fiance or husband looked bored or complained about shopping.
On the other hand, 35 percent of the men said that they were frustrated with their girlfriend, fiance or wife when she insists on visiting every store. No wonder 31 percent of the men refuse to enter the stores.
None of this should be a surprise to anyone who visits department stores or attempts to persuade a partner to go shopping.
My dad is the typical male shopper. He makes a list of things he needs. He goes to the store. In, out, done in less than 10 minutes, or less depending on how long the list is.
