Simone DeSantis launches licensing brand

Simone DeSantis, a Los Angeles designer, has launched a line with colorful designs that blend seamlessly into everyday living.  Her colorful work is a blend of hand-dyed Shibori, watercolors, and block print mixed with hand painting. The collections include a range of marketable themes such as florals, novelty, holiday, home/garden, and hand lettering. Her designs are suitable for many product categories, including textiles, home décor, tabletop, stationery, gift, and craft.

DeSantis’ career in design and merchandising provides a solid foundation for her art licensing and her collected experiences foster her unique style. From visual merchandising at Macy’s, production management for a bespoke furniture manufacturer, interior design projects, and textile design for the home furnishings industry, she has proven expertise in product design, technical requirements and manufacturing.

“It’s been an exciting transition from merchandising/interior design to textile and surface pattern design. For years, I’ve always had to work with what already existed in the marketplace, but now I can truly express my signature style through my own designs. I love mixing different techniques into each collection to give it a more eclectic and hand-selected look,” explained designer Simone DeSantis.

Electric Florals, her first fabric collection, is bold, eclectic, and brimming with her hand-painted style.
