Helena, MT – Sisters Karla Militello and Karrie Meyer are the fourth generation to work on their family’s Helena farm, but they’ve put a new twist on “farm work.”

Their earliest ancestors raised crops on the land, their father has been selling Airstream trailers on the property for 46 years, and the sisters spend their days working in a summer kitchen — but not the kind their grandmother cooked and baked in on hot, humid days.

Karla and Karrie are the owners of The Summer Kitchen Interiors, an eclectic shop filled with vintage and antique decor, women’s accessories and hand-blended loose-leaf tea.
