Floresville — “We have people who come here from Alaska to shop at Christmastime!” said Stacy Cameron, in a tone of absolute awe and amazement.

Of course, there are many who will travel miles to visit and shop at Sisters Boutique in Floresville, but to make a regular habit of coming from Alaska, it must be a unique destination.

It’s not just the clothing, home décor, fashion accessories, or other products that make Sisters such a welcoming place to shop. The owners and staff strive to make each customer feel special.

Stacy, buyer and manager of Sisters Boutique, and her mother, Annette Maha, the shop’s owner, strive to make their shop truly one of a kind, with items that can’t be found in every store.

“And we have an awesome group working for us,” Annette said. “They’re like working with family; we work together.”

Everyone at Sisters enjoys bringing a bit of happiness to their customers’ lives.

“It makes us feel good when groups of sisters or other family members come here together,” Annette said.

“We try to make them feel special,” Stacy added. “If they call ahead, we try to make cookies for them and make the day special. A lot of people say they come in here to ‘get happy.'”
