Small Business Gets Big Surprise
Hernando, MS – When Elaine Fletcher found out that she would be saving $400 on the utility deposit on her start-up business, Bon Von Gifts, and at least 15 percent per month for nearly two years, it seemed like money from heaven.
Rather, the cost savings is part of the Small Business Rate Incentives that Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley authored in 2011.
Presley was on hand Thursday at the small gift shop located inside the historic Von Theater building on Center Street in Hernando.
