Sold-out event celebrates greeting card industry

The biggest ever PG Live – taking place June 6-7, 2017 – is now just five weeks away and is officially a complete sell-out, according to show organiser Max Exhibitions.

With over 280 greeting card publishers, artists and designers coming together in one room, preparations for the jam-packed show are now well underway, as exhibitors prepare to woo greeting card buyers from over 40 countries as well as major UK retail multiples and leading independents, all of whom will be making their buying selections for the next 12 months.

Over 100 of these exhibitors will be showing exclusively at PG Live, making this the only chance this year to see the latest collections from a number of high-profile names such as Hallmark, Wendy Jones-Blackett and Paperlink. The line-up of new and emerging publishers is equally impressive, with more than 160 Springboarders coming together to showcase the very best up-and-coming names in the industry.

“This year’s show is already shaping up to be the most exciting PG Live so far,” said joint show director Warren Lomax. “We have more exclusive publishers exhibiting than ever before, with major launches, tempting show offers and all manner of other celebrations taking place during the show. And just wait ’til you see what other treats we have in store!”

A whole host of attention-grabbing initiatives, competitions and other stunts will be taking place at this year’s event. A number of key industry celebrations will be taking place, from Lagom’s and Clear Creations’ first decades in business right, Dean Morris Cards’ 18th, Soul’s 20th anniversary through to Forever Friends 30th anniversary, the same milestone Carte Blanche will be celebrating at the show. And of course there will be loads of significant launches from major greeting brands which will be unveiled at the industry’s most important trade show, including Five Dollar Shake’s Christmas range and Jonny Javelin’s new Velvet and Velvet Moments wedding collection.

Famed for its great energy, artistic vibe and friendly atmosphere, the famous PG Live hospitality will also see visitors enjoying a free two-course lunch, free refreshments throughout the show and a free drinks party on the first night.
