Source Globally at Mega Show in Hong Kong in October 2013
This coming autumn’s sourcing season in Asia will again be centred on MEGA SHOW PART 1, October 20-23 2013 and MEGA SHOW PART 2, October 27-29 2013. The two shows annually take place at the downtown Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
These two important trade shows are the main buying/selling platforms for gifts, housewares, toys, premiums and stationery in Hong Kong in the annual autumn buying season, and must-attend events in the Southern China sourcing circuit.
Over 4200 worldwide suppliers from 32 countries will be presenting new ranges and products to importers, distributors, wholesalers and trade buyers from over 130 countries. This coming October there is an increase in new European and other international companies exhibiting at the shows, looking to connect with Asian customers, now recognised as an expanding market for worldwide products.
Over 57,000 buyers were in Hong Kong, the most international city in Asia, to attend the shows in 2012, with the increase of buying power from emerging markets reflecting the current outlook for the trading at shows this coming October.
The clearly-defined product sectors that have been part of the shows for the past three years have been further enhanced to ensure working during the show days is more effective for both buyers and sellers. Further sections have been highlighted: GLASSWARE TRENDS, presenting the newest innovations in all forms from glassware from Asia and international based companies in MEGA SHOW PART 1. ASIAN HOME TEXTILES AND OUTDOOR LIVING is the showcase for all forms of home and domestic textiles and outdoor living ranges from South Asia and China in MEGA SHOW PART 2, and ASIAN STATIONERY, presenting the very best of pen, paper and print along with school and office products and supplies, will expand on the growing number of suppliers in MEGA SHOW PART 2 now participating in Hong Kong, on the back of the timing of the third session of Canton Fair.
MEGA SHOW PART 1 will present 7 major products sectors, GIFTS, HOUSEWARES AND HOME DÉCOR, CHRISTMAS, FESTIVE AND SEASONAL, TOYS AND GAMES plus BABY AND CHILD, GLASSWARE TRENDS, GIFTWRAP AND PACKAGING, along with the international suppliers, including group pavilions from CHINA, KOREA, INDIA, TAIWAN, THAILAND, THE PHILIPPINES and VIETNAM, presenting a diverse selection of GIFTS AND HOMEWARES.
MEGA SHOW PART 2 will present 4 major products sectors, GIFTS, HOME TEXTILES AND HOUSEWARES, ASIAN STATIONERY, AND HOME DÉCOR AND OUTDOOR LIVING with suppliers from Belgium, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, South Korea, The Philippines and Taiwan.
