Studio M appoints Mike Todd president

Studio M, a provider of artful home and garden products, said its director of operations, Mike Todd, has been appointed president of the company.

Mike Todd named president of Studio M

Todd brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having been with Studio M for nearly 10 years. The company’s marketing, IT, production, warehouse and operations teams have each benefitted from his leadership.

“I couldn’t be more product of everything Mike has brought to our family business,” said Curt Todd, Mike’s father and CEO of Studio M. “He has learned our business from the ground up and has earned the respect of everyone in the building. The company is in very good hands with Mike at the helm.”

Todd’s first role at Studio M was preparing brochure mailings and stocking shelves back when the company was a home-based business run by his mother, Sue Todd. He started working at Studio M full-time as a digital marketing coordinator in 2010 and has served as director of operations for the past two years. Also during his time at Studio M, Todd completed the MBA program at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.

“Studio M is a very special community to be a part of. It’s a privilege to continue working alongside all the wonderful people here — some of whom have been part of the Studio M family since I was a kid. I marvel every day at the company my parents have built with the help of family, friends, neighbors, Studio M retailers, and the artist community. I’m honored and couldn’t be more excited to take on a more influential role in Studio M’s future as president,” Todd said.

As president, Todd will work to grow Studio M alongside the company’s current executive team — Curt Todd (CEO and co-founder), Sue Todd (director of product management and co-founder), and Tammy Hickel (executive vice president of sales and marketing).
