Summer 2023 Atlanta Market gears up for buyers

Buyers worldwide are expected to attend Summer 2023 Atlanta Market, taking place July 11-17 at AmericasMart Atlanta.

The summer 2023 edition will feature expanded discovery opportunities, fresh product from more than 6,000 lines, plus a full roster of education and special events, according to ANDMORE, formerly International Market Centers, the producer of the show.

“The excitement is building for the largest buying event of the Summer 2023 season,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of ANDMORE. “Atlanta Market is ready to welcome top retailers and designers to market and to enhance the on-site experience with expanded resources, new at market tools and compelling programming.”

Expanded resources and showroom updates

Atlanta Market’s permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits grow in summer 2023, show executives said. Highlights include new, expanded and relocated gift and home brands and sales agencies throughout the market, along with debut of casual furniture resources presented at the first-ever co-located Casual Market Atlanta.

Atlanta Market’s 33 temporary exhibit categories present more than 3,000 lines in 10 exhibit halls across AmericasMart’s three buildings. Among updates for summer 2023 is the preview of a new Modern Maker category and creation of a new immediate delivery destination with relocation of Cash & Carry jewelry alongside the Antiques collection in Building 3, Floor 1.

Atlanta Market’s 1,100 permanent showroom collection spans 31 floors across the AmericasMart campus. The buying event features 47 new, expanded and relocated showrooms.

ANDMORE cites 28 updates among 700 gift showrooms on 19 floors in Buildings 1, 2 and 3 that are slated to offer new resources in general gift, gourmet and housewares, tabletop, seasonal/holiday outdoor living, children’s and more.

Most recent gift updates in Building 2 include one new showroom, Sticks, Inc. (handcrafted furniture designs and home décor); plus eight expansions: Candleberry Candles (candles), Chive (vases), Enchanted Moments (representing 119 toy and gift lines), Harper Group (representing 44 home, gift, publishing and lifestyle lines), Kendrick Home (hand-painted, printed and framed hardwood signs), Mr. Christmas Inc. (mechanical and musical holiday decorations), PD Home & Garden (home décor) and Sandy Ruben Associates (representing 86 toy and children’s product lines).

New in Tabletop/Housewares is Prima Donna Design (tabletop) in Building 2. Three new seasonal/gift showrooms in Building 1 are: Inspiration Direct (craft, art, fabric, décor and seasonal products), Peus Gift & Decoration Inc. (holiday décor) and Stitch by Stitch Gifts (handmade felt decorations); also, expanding its showroom is Green Import Ltd. (silk botanicals and holiday decorations).

More than 350 home furnishings showrooms presented on 12 floors in Building 1 include some 11 new, expanded and relocated accent furniture, décor, lighting, outdoor living, rug, textile and wall art brands. Recent updates include new showroom Heartfully Yours (European glass Christmas ornaments by Christopher Radko); expanded showroom LR Home (home décor); and the relocation of Art and Frame Source (original wall art).

The co-location of the new Casual Market Atlanta with Atlanta Market offers further new opportunities for buyers. Registered Atlanta Market buyers will have access to the 100 Casual Market Atlanta temporary exhibits July 10-13. More than 50 showrooms — located in Building 1, Floors 2 through 5 — will remain open for the duration of Atlanta Market.

Programming and amenities

Atlanta Market aims to adds to the in-person market experience with five days of programming.

The schedule includes five business-building seminars, three cooking demonstrations in the JURA Gourmet Demonstration Kitchen, three marquee events on the Building 3 Atrium stage, four tours highlighting the best of market, plus the popular Market Kickoff Party and Designer Workspace Soiree.

On-campus amenities add to the excitement and ease of Summer 2023 Atlanta Market. All-new photo ops in all three buildings and product displays offer great social media content and merchandising inspiration. Market amenities add to the celebratory mood with daily happy hours, free refreshments and more. Atlanta Market will offer hotel and airport shuttles, a comprehensive hotel block and best-price parking options.

Also launching for the summer 2023 market season is ANDMORE’s new @Market app for buyers, currently available on the Apple App Store for attendees to activate before coming to market.
