Surya to open showroom at Dallas Market Center
Surya, a wholesaler of home furnishings such as rugs, furniture, lighting, textiles, wall décor and decorative accents, is moving into a new space in the Interior Home + Design Center at Dallas Market Center.
The 14,000-square-foot showroom is located down the corridor from their recently acquired company, Global Views.
The new Surya showroom, Interior Home + Design Center 1D321, will debut in time for the January Total Home & Gift Market, Jan. 10-16, 2024.
“We are excited for what this new location and remerchandised space represent for our company,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. “The Dallas marketplace is a vibrant, year-round destination for designers. Our move into the Interior Home + Design Center is a milestone that will allow designers easy and convenient access to both the Surya and Global Views brands.”
Surya launched in 1976 by Surya Tiwari selling hand-knotted rugs and has grown into a global brand with an expansive catalog of more than 80,000 products. It aims to be is a one-stop source for home furnishings for a broad range of lifestyles. Surya opened their Dallas showroom in the World Trade Center in 2014 and in April of 2023 acquired Global Views, a wholesaler of home furnishings and decorative accessories. Grand opening details and events in the new showroom have not yet been announced.
