Talk About Oak Harbor: Novelties and Nostalgia Opens Doors
Wodville, OH – There is an interesting new shop just a short drive down State Route 105 in Woodville, Ohio. Novelties and Nostalgia opened its doors the second week of May last year. Since then, co-owners Anita Grieger and Deb Yeagle have stayed busy meeting and greeting the public while expanding the number of persons selling, teaching or serving tea in their shop. There are 40 crafters, artists and antique and collectible dealers with merchandise displayed throughout the shop.
I visited on a sunny Wednesday afternoon and was immediately taken with the merchandise in the children’s area. In fact, I did not even see Anita standing by the counter on the other side of the area. The children’s area is primarily items for girls. Bows, headbands, doll clothes, skirts of tulle and other frills are displayed. There also are soft blankets, washcloths and wall hangings.
Both Deb and Anita sat down for tea with me. It was wonderfully served with china cups and saucers in the front atrium of the shop.
