Tiny Tea Shop Now Open in WashingtonBy Karen ButterfieldEMissourian.com

Washington, MO – Art and tea connoisseurs now have a new shop to visit — the Tiny Tea Shop, located at 301 E. Fifth St., Washington.

The shop, which is more of a boutique/art gallery, features all organic teas grown in the United States, including a selection of three green teas, three black teas and four herbal teas, each with its own unique qualities, said owner Katharine Walter, of Washington.

Walter is growing a small batch of estate tea, which she hopes will be ready next year. All tea (black and green) comes from the same type of plant, she explained. The variations are in how its processed.
