Boutique Grace has taken over the former Peppermint Grove store in Thames Side while gift shop St Audrey’s has opened in Duke Street.

Women’s clothing chain Kaliko was closed for two weeks while it was given a new look.

Grace sells European and American labels including Pinko, Patrizia Pepe, Wildfox, LNA, Moobaa leather and Hudson, as well as jewellery, shoes and other accessories.

New items arrive weekly and there are plans to extend brands in the store to niche designers.

The business was founded by Vivienne King, 57, who is married to professional golfer Michael King, who represented Europe in the Ryder Cup in 1979.

She also has stores in Ascot and Beaconsfield and plans to open another one in Notting Hill, London.

Mrs King, from Sunningdale, said: “The opportunity for a store in Henley was thrown at me and I just went for it. I’ve always loved the town.
