Two Zoku® Products Win 2012 IDEA® Awards

Hoboken, NJ – The Zoku® Single Quick Pop® Maker and the Zoku® Chocolate Station are winners of the 2012 Bronze Award in the Kitchens category of the 2012 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). Started by the Industrial Designers Society of America in 1980, the IDEA program is considered one of the most preeminent design competitions in the nation.

The two innovative Zoku products won based on multiple dimensions including innovation, benefit to the user, responsibility, and visual appeal and appropriate aesthetics.

The Zoku Single Quick Pop Maker

Available in Purple, Red, Orange, Green and Blue, the Single Quick Pop Maker makes an ice pop in as little as seven minutes on your countertop without electricity. From fresh fruit ice pops to fudge pops filled with bananas to frozen yogurt draped in white chocolate, it can make up to three pops before refreezing.

To use, simply store the Quick Pop Maker in your freezer so it will always be ready to make pops at a moment’s notice. Just insert the reusable pop stick, add chilled ingredients, and then watch it freeze. A handy Super Tool makes it easy to remove finished pops, and a Drip Guard ensures no drop will go uneaten.

The Single Quick Pop Maker comes with three reusable sticks with drip guards, and one Super Tool. It is entirely BPA and Phthalate free and has a suggested retail price of $24.95.

The Zoku Chocolate Station

The Chocolate Station is the newest accessory for the Quick Pop Maker, which allows you to dip, drizzle and sprinkle chocolate and a variety of toppings on your homemade ice pops. Simply pour the prepared chocolate shell mixture into the unit’s cavity, dip the ice pop in to cover it with chocolate, and you’re ready to enjoy.

The Chocolate Station comes with a dipping well with lid, drizzle spoon, two dipping trays, and instruction manual with recipes for ice cream bases, quick shells, and topping ideas. The Chocolate Station is entirely BPA and Phthalate free and has a suggested retail price of $19.95.
