Up With Paper Partners With Paper E. Clips in Canada

Up With Paper announced today that it is partnering with Paper E. Clips (PEC) as the exclusive distributor of its unique, three-dimensional greeting cards and stationery lines to specialty retailers in Canada. The companies joined forces in the PEC booth at the 2013 Fall Toronto Gift Show to make the announcement.

Up With Paper’s innovative lines, including Treasures, Panoramics and Sight ‘n Sound® pop-up greeting cards, Trinkets® pop-up gift enclosures, Pop-Up Snow Globe Greetings®, Pop-Up Notepads, and UWP Luxe™ pop-up boxed notes, desktop notes and sticky notes portfolios, have been distributed in Canada for more than a decade, and are now available to Canadian retailers exclusively through PEC. The company’s licensed Hello Kitty® line of pop-up stationery is also available exclusively through PEC.

“We are very pleased to partner with PEC for the distribution of our greeting card and stationery lines in Canada,” said George White, President and COO of Up With Paper. “PEC provides very strong sales and service to its retailers throughout the country, and we are confident that they will provide further growth for our brands here.”

“We are delighted to represent Up with Paper in Canada. It is a line I have admired for years and we look forward growing the business in Canada” said Tory Wright, President Paper E.Clips Inc.

Up With Paper’s line of pop-up books, published under the Jumping Jack Press imprint, is not part of this agreement, as they remain available in Canada exclusively through Ingram Publisher Services.

Originally founded as PopShots, Inc., in 1978, Up With Paper has been recognized for design excellence more than 55 times with the International Greeting Card Association’s highest honor, the “LOUIE” award, including the “Card of the Year” LOUIE Award in 2005.
