Urban Expositions Announces Staff Appointments for Gift, Souvenir Trade Shows
Atlanta, GA – Urban Expositions, leading producer of regional gift, souvenir and resort merchandise shows, has announced a series of staff appointments related to the Philadelphia Gift Show, Virginia Gift Show, Ocean City Resort Gift Expo, Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show, Miami Beach Gift Show and Galveston Gift and Resort Merchandise Show, effective immediately.
Shelley Fulghum has been named show director for the Philadelphia Gift Show, overseeing sales and operations for the nation’s largest regional gift show held semi-annually in Reading, PA. Fulghum was previously the show manager for the Ocean City Resort Gift Expo, the Virginia Gift Show, and the Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show. Fulghum first joined Urban Expositions in 2003 as the leasing manager for the Philadelphia Gift Show. She went on to the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) where she served as the exhibit sales manager. Fulghum returned to Urban Expositions in 2006.
Marjorie Richardson will take on the role as show manager for the annual Virginia Gift Show in Virginia Beach, VA, the Ocean City Resort Gift Expo in Ocean City, MD, and the Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show in Myrtle Beach, SC. In her new role, she will handle sales and operations for all three shows. Richardson first joined Urban Expositions in 2005 as the show manager for the Miami Beach Gift Show and the Ocean City Resort Gift Expo, formally known as the East Coast Resort Gift Expo.
Jeannie Dorchak has been named show manager for the semi-annual Miami Beach Gift Show, Miami Beach, FL and the annual Galveston Gift and Resort Merchandise Show in Galveston, TX. She will oversee sales and operations for both shows. Before joining Urban Expositions in the summer of 2007, Dorchak worked for Messe Frankfurt as the sales manager for the Interior Lifestyle Show, held in Las Vegas, NV.
Jennifer Simon joined Urban Expositions in the summer of 2007 as the sales manager for the Philadelphia Gift Show. Prior to joining Urban Expositions, Simon worked as an event coordinator for Gutter Helmet of Atlanta, located in Norcross, GA.
