WILLIAMSBURG Announces New Licensing Partnership with Avanti Linens

Williamsburg, VA – WILLIAMSBURG will launch a new licensing program with Avanti Linens, a leading designer of fine home linens. Expanding WILLIAMSBURG’s award-winning appeal of “trend meets tradition” home furnishings, Avanti will introduce distinctive collections in bath, kitchen and table linens at the Avanti showroom during the New York Home Fashions Market, Sept. 19-23. The collections will build upon WILLIAMSBURG’s successful combination of stunning floral prints with complementary graphic patterns.

Under the skilled direction of founder and dedicated owner Arthur Tauber, Avanti Linens has been a recognizable name in embellished home linens for more than 40 years. Recently, Avanti has been inspired by the WILLIAMSBURG home furnishings collection of textiles to create an extensive line of WILLIAMSBURG product designs featuring bath towels, shower curtains, and bath accessories. Avanti will also create kitchen and table linens for the WILLIAMSBURG market introduction.

Jim Easton, vice president of products for the WILLIAMSBURG brand, welcomes the new relationship, saying, “I am very pleased that Avanti Linens is joining the WILLIAMSBURG licensing team. Avanti is well established as a leader in their field and brings an exciting new dimension to our WILLIAMSBURG Home Furnishings program.”

The Avanti WILLIAMSBURG collections include “Tulipomania” and “Charlotte” prints, inspired by WILLIAMSBURG’s popular fabrics based on botanical motifs. Prints such as “Parterre” and “Sheraton Ikat” offer eye-popping graphic designs, while “Isham Indienne” adds a hint of global chic from the 18th-century era of exploration and booming world trade.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to work with a world-class organization like WILLIAMSBURG,” said Jeff Kaufman, Avanti’s president and chief operating officer. “In addition to its strong brand recognition and long history in the marketplace, its extensive design library that dates back three centuries offers Avanti the opportunity to cover many looks in the different product categories. We look forward to a very long and successful partnership with the WILLIAMSBURG brand.”
