WILLIAMSBURG Combines Trend and Tradition in Atlanta

Williamsburg, VA – WILLIAMSBURG, best known for fusing contemporary style and trends with timeless elegance, will introduce a range of home furnishings and gifts at The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, July 13-20. From palms and birds to pineapples, equestrian themes and magnolias, new WILLIAMSBURG products from Creative Co-Op, Department 56, Jim Shore, Andrea by Sadek, Michaelian Home and Winward offer a variety of styles suitable for any interior, year-round. Many products incorporate designs such as florals and ikats from the popular WILLIAMSBURG home furnishing textiles developed for the brand by P.K. Lifestyles.

“The breadth of the launches in Atlanta next week showcases the depth of WILLIAMSBURG’s product offerings and the richness of the design inspiration found in Colonial Williamsburg’s archive collections,” said Jim Easton, vice president of products for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. “With debuts from six licensees, WILLIAMSBURG continues to blend today’s trends with design traditions of the past.”

The WILLIAMSBURG Noble Palm collection of home décor and gift items by Creative Co-Op brings tropical style into the home with fish and turtle themed pieces with an ikat accent. Perfect for homes on the coast or simply for beach-lovers, the collection enhances any room’s atmosphere of waterside relaxation.

Department 56 extends its WILLIAMSBURG Village collection with the addition of a model R. Charlton’s Coffeehouse and coordinating accessories, allowing consumers to bring an 18th-century precursor of today’s specialty coffee shop into their own homes.

Fife and Drum figurines, an angel with a teapot, and a pineapple – the traditional symbol of hospitality and welcome – build upon the success of the existing WILLIAMSBURG collection from Jim Shore Heartwood Creek by Enesco

Andrea by Sadek introduces three Classic Bird collections of holiday serveware. Chickadees, cardinals, and partridges perched in pear trees set a festive yet chic tone for holiday entertaining. Michaelian Home will debut two sporting pillows based on prints in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. The pillows, titled “On the Hunt,” feature midnight black horses silhouetted against a plaid background in varying shades of red and blue, making them a perfect traditional accent for a den or family room.

Elegant magnolia and hydrangea are the stars in Winward’s new WILLIAMSBURG pieces, reminiscent of Colonial Williamsburg’s gardens. The purchase of WILLIAMSBURG products supports The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation’s award-winning educational programs and mission, helping Americans interact with history in a way that is simultaneously engaging and exciting.
