After graduating with an English degree, Wilson worked at Nordstrom in sales and merchandised at the San Diego Central Library’s shop. Through these experiences, Wilson has implemented many merchandising and buying changes at Mingei. Her passion for books has largely expanded the store’s publication selection, and she feels strongly about promoting local artists, handmade pieces and emphasizing ethically made items that reflect the museum’s mission statement.
