In 2014, Susan developed Hazelmade as a place to grow creatively and craft products connecting us to those we love. Susan hand draws each nature-inspired design. The products are made in small batches in the USA with a focus on quality. In 2021, Susan opened a studio in Kent, Ohio embracing her local community. She shares her passion for design through mentoring students and aspiring entrepreneurs, and guest lecturing at her alma mater Kent State.
