Nestled at the base of the Aspen ski mountain, in the celebrity-made-famous Little Nell hotel, is Gorsuch Ltd. an upscale boutique featuring home furnishings and accessories as well as fashions for men and women. Manager Kathy Scott characterizes the store as the “intersection of Park Avenue and Rodeo Drive.” Founded 43 years ago by David and Renie Gorsuch, there are four Gorsuch stores in Colorado’s more upscale ski resort communities. Gorsuch also has a very successful catalog business. The founders are fourth-generation skiers who still live in nearby Vail. They handpick the collections found in their stores and catalogs to reflect the love they and their customers have for skiing and the luxury mountain lifestyle.
