Back Room Blueprint

An organized back room is essential to the profitability of a retail store. It houses the supporting materials and supplies needed to conduct retail transactions, as well as areas for processing incoming and outgoing merchandise. An efficient back room is organized and each section is clearly labeled on a printed layout map located in the employee area for quick reference. The diagram below shows a sample layout for a functional and organized retail back room.
