a’ la carte Joins the Synergy of Gourmet and Tabletop With a New Major Showroom at AmericasMart

AmericasMart solidifies its position as the premier player in the wholesale gourmet/housewares sector with the addition of á la carte to the eighth floor of Building 2West Wing.

With 2,678 square feet of prime space adjacent to the demonstration cooking arena, á la carte offers several major lines such as Bormioli Rocco, Dr. Vranjes, Ego-Alter, et al Designs, La Mediterranea, Lifetime Brands, Lunares, Paderno, Q-Squared, Rosenthal, Sambonet,Secrets de Provence, Tradition Sud, Versace and Vista Alegre/Atlantis.

“Atlanta has recently become the most important gift show in the country,” says Christi Pearson and Michael Brezicky, managing partners of á la carte. “Attracting a National audience, AmericasMart provides the widest audience possible for our manufacturers and their products. Living and working in the Southeast makes it a no-brainer for our new sales organization to have a permanent showroom here. We are excited to have a space next to the demo kitchen on the eighth floor as this is the beehive of activity for our industry.”

á la carte will unveil its new showroom when AmericasMart presents the first global wholesale trade event of 2012: The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market Jan. 11-18 (Temporaries: Jan. 13-17), with the Atlanta International Area Rug Market featuring the National Oriental Rug Show taking place Jan. 12-15 (Temporaries: Jan. 13-15).

The addition of á la carte is just another example of the exciting recognized growth of AmericasMart’s gourmet, tabletop, giftware and entertaining housewares segment that is soaring to new heights with more than 400 lines on display in January.

Also to be unveiled in January is a 13-foot corridor that connects the eighth floor of Building 2 with the eighth floor of Building 2 WestWing, allowing attendees easier access to all segments leading right up to the gourmet kitchen demonstration theatre. This new connectivity is a holistic, cross-merchandising approach that fosters an overall lifestyle living and entertainment synergy that is unmatched.

Christi and Michael’s enthusiasm will no doubt be echoed by thousands of other exhibitors and buyers coming to AmericasMart when they said, “January 2012 cannot come quick enough.”
