Bitybean Makes Boston Debut at Drool Baby Expo

On May 7, Bitybean, llc will be making its Boston debut at Drool Baby Expo at the Westin Waterfornt Hotel. This premier event, hosted by Magic Beans, allows expectant moms to test, touch, feel all things baby while being pampered, enjoying tasty treats and sipping mocktails. Bitybean will be among the 70 vendors showing their products to expectant moms and answering questions.

Bitybean is very excited about Drool and will be exhibiting its UltraCompact Baby Carrier. It is the smallest soft-side carrier on the market. Weighing only eight-ounces and compacting to the size of a child’s water bottle allows it to be tucked away in any backpack or purse. The UltraCompact Carrier is used for both front and back carry; for infants/toddlers 3 months and up and weighing 8 to 40 lbs.

“It’s great for us to attend events like this because we really enjoy interacting with our customers and hearing what they have to say in a relaxed space.” Founder Doug Hartwell said. Hartwell came up with the idea of an UltraCompact Baby Carrier when he was out hiking with his two year old daughter. “Her little legs would often tire and she would need to be carried, I wished that there was a carrier I could just stick in my pocket.”

Bitybean’s UltraCompact Carrier has been widely accepted and received numerous awards, beginning in 2012 with an Innovation Award from the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association (JPMA). It also received a best in show at the New York Baby Show in 2013 and most recently a Cribsee Best New Arrival Award. Bitybean is a Vermont based company, dedicated to helping families get out and explore their world together.
