Casual Outdoor Living Shines at AmericasMart July Gift & Home Furnishings Market

Outdoor/Indoor®.The Gardens® continues to refine and broaden the spectrum of casual living product innovations and resources this July when AmericasMart Atlanta hosts the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market July 13 – 20 (with Temporaries taking place Friday, July 15 – Tuesday, July 19) and The Atlanta International Area Rug Market July 14 – 17, 2011.

Located in a spectacular setting in AmericasMart Building 2 WestWing, Floors 9 and 10, Living. Outdoor/Indoor. The Gardens is an open-space environment filled with product born of design innovations and inspirations, all taking center stage at Market. Linked by a unique two-story waterfall, the two floors will capture the natural spirit its product mix embraces with the industry’s most sophisticated and technologically advanced casual lifestyle setting. The industry’s leading gardens and casual lifestyle companies will showcase their product throughout the open-air setting aimed at inspiring retailers and designers alike.

As usual, AmericasMart, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary year, will offer a full range of seminars, presentations and events all designed to provide insight on the latest trends and product including:

• HD HOME Preview Party, Thursday July 14; 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Preview the most anticipated and exciting addition to AmericasMart representing the crème de la crème of home furnishings. Get a first look at the world’s leading design-driven home furnishings while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, drinks and music. Building 1, Floor 1, Center Hall.
• Everlasting Arrangements, Thursday July 14, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. A decorating demonstration by Alvin Moore who will explore the power and versatility of decorating with permanent flora in both your home and retail shop. Building 1, Floor 19, Seminar Room 19 A 23.
• Eco-Chic Decorating & Entertaining, Saturday July 16, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Decorating demonstration by Serenbe Co-Founder Marie Nygren and Keith Robinson of Gloriosa Event Design, Serenbe’s exclusive wedding and special event design. Join the Serenbe design duo for a presentation on decorating for every day events and special occasions. Building 1, Floor 19, Seminar room 19 A 23.
• Outdoor Living, Saturday July 16, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join a presentation by English ex-pat Kathryn Ireland who transplanted herself to California in the 1980’s and is an advocate of outdoor living as well as a widely recognized expert in creating outdoor spaces that can function successfully and beautifully as rooms. Named one of Elle Décor’s Top 25 Designers and the host of Bravo’s new television series Million Dollar Decorators, Kathryn will host a book sale and signing following the presentation. Building 2 West Wing, Floor 10, Seminar Room 10 A 7.
• Home, Garden & Holiday Living, Saturday July 16, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by Melrose Showroom, Ken Fetgatter, AIFD, will discuss the latest trends in design for inside and outside the home. Ken will also spend some time on the holidays with focusing on economics and profitability. Building 1, Floor 19, Seminar Room 19 A 23.
• Four Seasons of Design with Mar Jennings, Sunday July 17, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mar Jennings shares the insights and creative design solutions he uses to create his nationally recognized homes and gardens where he blurs the lines between indoor design concept and outdoor living spaces by his use of design elements, color, textures and placements. Following his presentation, Mar will have a book sale and signing of his latest book, “Life on Mar’s: A Four Season Garden.” Building Two WestWing, Floor 10, Seminar Room 10 A 7.

In addition to the exciting events, Living. Outdoor/ Indoor®, The Gardens® announces the following new tenants, expansion and relocations.

• Designer Stone, Inc., which offers top-of-the line granites, marbles and other stones, will open a new permanent 290 square-foot showroom located on the 9th Floor, showroom 9B58 in Building Two WestWing.
• Exhart Environmental Systems has expanded its showroom of decorative home and garden accessories to 1,404 square feet and will be located on Floor 9, showroom 9B82, 83 of Building Two WestWing.
• Ibis & Orchid Design Inc., has expanded is showroom of beautiful, hand-painted, botanically inspired designs for the gift and home décor industry. Its 651 square feet of space will be located on the 9th Floor, showroom 9B55, 63, 64 of Building Two WestWing.
• Premier Kites & Designs, which offers innovative, high-quality products for the specialty kite, toy, gift, flag and lawn and garden markets, relocated its 130 square feet to showroom 10B61 on Floor 10 of Building Two, WestWing.
• The Pottery Patch International, Inc., a suppliers of imported Mexican, Thailan and Malaysian pottery as well as other garden products, relocated its 1,186 square-foot showroom to Floor 10, showroom 10B74 of Building Two WestWing.
• Toland Home & Garden, which offers flags and other decorative garden items, relocated to showroom to 10A11, 12 on Floor 10 of Building Two WestWing.
• Viducci’s Garden USA, expanded its space to 1,749 square feet to better display its collection of pottery, terracotta planters, glazed pottery, fiber glass planters, and stone ware planters. The showroom is located on Floor 10 showroom 10B85,86, 87B of Building Two WestWing.
