Demdaco announces addition of world-renowned artist to portfolio

(LEAWOOD, KANSAS) – Demdaco is pleased to announce the new license of artist, world-renowned naturalist and painter Marjolein Bastin to our extensive collection of gifts and home accents. With five new and innovative collections of more than 150 items, Nature’s Journey is Demdaco’s largest launch ever. The product line features a new fresh approach to elegant florals, a sophisticated damask collection, garden accessories, as well as holiday serveware and traditional everyday home accents.

A naturalist from the time she was a young girl, Marjolein Bastin always felt compelled to represent nature and to uncover its intricacies in her artwork. Her fascination with nature grew into her life’s mission, and she began sketching and painting every plant and animal in sight. Her art tells a story, and she uses her paintings to build bridges and find connections with others.

Hoping to touch others, her desire to share her enthusiasm for nature led to international recognition and acclaim. Due to her artistic contribution to her homeland, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands honored Marjolein as a Knight in the Order of the Dutch Lion. In 2007, she was also honored by having a tulip in the Triumph family bearing her name – the Marjolein Bastin Tulip.

Nature’s Journey features a current twist on Marjolein’s classic and beloved designs, and she is the perfect complement to the Demdaco family of artists and collections.

Detailed information on Nature’s Journey will be available from Demdaco Account Executives on Nov. 10.
