N.J. Bill to Encourage Shop Local Incentive Programs Deserves Support
Marlboro, NJ – It is a truth universally acknowledged that shoppers are ever in want of a bargain. And if that custom should have the side effect of strengthening the community where the shopper resides, it’s an even better deal.
That’s why several New Jersey towns have embraced a recently launched program that awards rebates to shoppers who patronize their local stores.
Each purchase at a participating store earns credits that annually add up to a tax cut with the amount of the savings printed on property tax bills.
