Brecksville, OH – Tell us what your business does: A paradigm is a pathway of thought and New Paradigm Art & Gift Gallery offers unique, repurposed, one-of-a-kind, useful, beautiful, wearable art and gifts.

Where did you get the idea for your business? I started re-purposing sweaters into Katwise inspired garments including hoodies, cardigans, coats, arm warmers, leg warmers, boot cuffs, and hats and sold them in my etsy shop then decided to open a brick-and-mortar store and am an etsy storefront having been approved to buy from etsy wholesale which opened its market in August 2014.

What makes your business unique? The shop has four focuses: on innovation, re-purposing, art, and whimsy. I feature mostly local artists’ work as well as my own sewn creations. We offer services including custom sweaters, sentimental memories, art parties, and T-shirt quilts. Sentimental memories include using a passed loved one’s clothing to make pillows, aprons, Christmas tree skirts, fur collars … the list is always growing!
