Publisher of Children’s Magazines Award Maple Landmark Products

Scooterbay Media of Henderson, Nevada, publishers of babyMaternity Magazine and Creative Child Magazine, have completed their annual product evaluations and granted Maple Landmark Woodcraft two top awards. The new heart, peace and tooth shaped teethers in Schoolhouse Naturals brand line of Maple Landmark Woodcraft took top honors in the teether category while the recently-debuted Farm Play Set was chosen as the Toy of the Year in the baby toys category. The award winners are chosen by a panel of moms, educators and other professionals at an evaluation event hosted by Scooterbay Media.

Over one hundred guest reviewers are invited to Henderson, Nevada by Scooterbay Media to review the hundreds of submitted products in dozens of categories for both babyMaternity Magazine and Creative Child Magazine. Using the “gun-shot start” approach, reviewers are asked to evaluate products at a variety of stations. Through this process, each product is given multiple reviews by various experts in the field. The reviews include written comments and evaluation scores based on specific product criteria. Using the scores and comments, products are chosen to be finalists for their category. Only one product per category can win a Toy of the Year award. The remaining finalists receive a prestigious Top Choice award.

The Top Choice in the teether category for babyMaternity Magazine, Schoolhouse Naturals teethers are crafted from hardwood maple with no finishes. Teethers measuring about 4″ in diameter on the sides and 3/4″ thick and rounded and sanded silky smooth for the mouth and gums.

The Farm Play Set, named Toy of the Year by Creative Child Magazine in the baby toys category, was introduced in the late winter of 2014. The 21-piece Farm Play Set includes a block barn, tractor and 9 play figures.

The 11 piece barn block set is crafted from locally-harvested hardwood maple and has engraved graphics. All 11 blocks are 1″ thick for easy standing and stacking. Five blocks measure 2″ X 4″, two blocks are 2″ X 2″, two large triangles are 2″ X 3 ¾” and two small triangles are right triangles that measure 2″ X 2″. The unique graphics on the front side of each block include a cat, a rooster, a pig and a horse.

A farm family of 5 – mom, dad, and 3 children, a tractor and 4 farm animals – horse, cow, dog and pig are included in the set.
