Trollbeads’ Legal Battle With Lund Settled by Danish Courts in Resounding Victory

2012 marks a pivotal year for Trollbeads. In addition to an already impressive first quarter sales growth in the United States Trollbeads has a new reason to celebrate. Trollbeads parent company, Lise Aagaard Copenhagen A/S has completed a resounding victory in its arbitration case versus Lund Trading. The Danish court has determined that Lund Trading was in material breach of its exclusive distribution contract and that its termination on January 25, 2011 was justified and lawful. This is the best possible outcome that might have been expected resulting from these proceedings which reaffirms the value of the professional and personal ethics by which Trollbeads has worked to protect the integrity of the brand.

As Trollbeads embarks on an aggressive expansion plan, 2012 marks the first full year that the original bead-on-bracelet brand will be activated via an integrated marketing plan supporting both the trade and retail outlets along with strategic direct-to-consumer initiatives. In February, the company is supporting a national Valentine’s Day Trunk Show event among participating retailers by driving print and online advertising as well as social media activities to their store events. Through a multitude of media channels and rich media assets targeting gift-finders and gift-buyers, Trollbeads will bring renewed excitement to and awareness of the brand congruent with our product commitment where every person’s story can be shared and passed on with the gift of Trollbeads.
