Wareham, MA – Less than a week after opening her store Twigs & Tides, Margee Millspaugh is a natural who seems like she’s been doing this forever.

The former marketing executive for several high-tech Boston corporations greets customers and strikes up easy conversation, talking about the marketing strategies she might use for her new store on Main Street in Wareham.

“We were going to put a bathtub in the window, with one of our ladies in it — but the only problem was, we couldn’t figure out how to keep the water warm,” Millspaugh jokes.

The store opened Nov., 5 and Millspaugh says she is excited to start her newest venture. With a staff of two women who she credits with helping her get the project off the ground and being hugely supportive of her efforts thus far, Millspaugh says she began the business after some encouragement and citing opportunity’s arrival at precisely the right time.
