Leesburg wine shop offers spot to savor rare vintagesBy Rosalind JenningsOrlandoSentinel.com

Leesburg – It’s a place to unwind.

At Two Old Hags Wine Shoppe downtown, owners Beatrix Isaac and Linda Kohlmeyer serve wine and beer at indoor and outside seating.

“We offer a variety of six wines daily at $5 a glass for sampling,” Isaac said. “You can come in, get a glass of wine and enjoy the city. Linda and I obtain wines you don’t get at a grocery store.”

The wine and gourmet-gift shop, which opened in December, carries more than 200 varieties of imported and domestic wines in the retail section, as well as extras that go with fine dining and entertaining: gourmet foods, cigars, drink mixes, wine accessories, chocolates, and organic and quality teas.

“Chocolate pairs extremely well with wine,” Isaac said.

The shop, 410 W. Main St., also sells cocoa mixes, imported and domestic beers, and organic cheeses.
