Nobleworks Licenses Wry Baby For a New Line of Cards and Button Cards

Hoboken, NJ – Nobleworks has announced a partnership with Wry Baby (wrybaby.com.) and has released several new card lines incorporating Wry Baby’s successful design sensibility.

Wry Baby is the creator of humorous baby products with a modern, edgy feel. Wry Baby is responsible for the popular Mysterio baby T-Shirts (a packaged T-shirt that depicts a random occupation) and the “Wheel of Responsibility”, which parents spin to determine who will comfort the crying baby in the middle of the night. Wry Baby book titles include “Safe Baby Handling Tips” and “Safe Baby Pregnancy Tips” – the books are illustrated in graphic, retro style and reflect an ironic, irreverent tone, directed at hip, modern parents.

Ron Kanfi, President and Creative Director of NobleWorks, says that Wry Baby’s approach is a perfect match for NobleWorks’ unconventional style. “Wry Baby goes beyond just courting the soccer moms – their audience is hip, educated, and able to laugh at themselves.” Dave Sopp of Wry Baby had this to say about the partnership: “NobleWorks is the best at bringing pop culture to the card racks. They aren’t afraid to be irreverent and neither are we. Working with them was sort of a no-brainer.”

In collaboration with NobleWorks, Wry Baby has developed three specialty card lines. Everyday cards depict satirical life instructions, inspired by airplane safety cards. Christmas and Halloween cards are based on the same concept and are also available boxed. Finally, a line of baby congratulations card-and-button combinations are aimed at new parents and poke fun at day-to-day parenting subjects. Cards have an attached button, which can be removed and worn. Titles include “My mommy group can beat up your mommy group” and “Champion diaper changer.”

Button cards are $3.95 suggested retail. All other cards are $2.95.
