Enesco Names Stephen P. Zaruba Chief Financial Officer

Itasca, Illinois – Enesco, LLC, a global leader in the giftware and home and garden décor industries, today announced the appointment of Stephen Zaruba as the company’s senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Zaruba, 48, will oversee Enesco’s accounting, treasury and budget functions. He will also serve as a member of the Enesco Executive Management Team, reporting to Bill Guarisco, executive vice president of Enesco, LLC.

“Steve Zaruba brings a combination of great financial acumen and strong consumer products expertise, and we are delighted to have him lead Enesco’s global finance team,” said Guarisco. “Steve’s experience will be particularly valuable as Enesco continues to grow and expand its portfolio of brands around the world.”

Zaruba joins Enesco from Compact Industries, Inc., a supplier to consumer product manufacturers, where he had been vice president and chief financial officer since 2006. His previous experience includes 20 years in accounting and corporate finance with Sara Lee Corporation, where he most recently served as vice president of financial and administrative services from 2001 to 2005. At Sara Lee, Zaruba also oversaw the company’s global shared services functions, including finance and accounting in the United States and Europe. Prior to this role, he was CFO of Sara Lee’s North American Coffee and Tea business.

Zaruba earned an MBA degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, and passed the CPA exam in 1985.
