Punch Studio Expands

Punch Studio, the leading stationery and gift manufacturer known for their beautiful trend-setting designs, has purchased a 41,000 square foot office building adjacent to their existing headquarters and warehouse facility in Culver City, California.

Punch will be joining the newly acquired office building to its current facility with the addition of a new wing which will connect the two buildings.  According to Todd Kirshner, the owner of Punch Studio, the new complex, scheduled to be completed in late 2011, will total approximately 140,000 square feet.

The new addition is necessary to accommodate the rapid growth that Punch has experienced over the past few years.  Kirshner said much of the recently acquired office space will be used for their design studio. “Most of our customers are unaware of how much custom design work we do for major retailers, requiring a large in-house creative team of graphic designers and illustrators.  Although we publish extensive catalogues for our stationery and gift store accounts, the majority of what we do is under the radar as exclusive, custom designs for retailers who want unique product lines.”

Punch was founded in 2001 as an offshoot of the former Michel & Company.
