Zak Launches Interactive Sites for Parents

Spokane, WA – Mealtime can be a challenge. But it can also be a lot of fun. In an effort to help parents find new and creative ways to make mealtime fun for their kids and easier for them, Zak Designs has recently launched a trio of social media sites.

Zak has established a presence on both Facebook and Twitter as a way to connect with the growing number of parents who are using these valuable tools as a way to network with other parents and companies that share their same val ues. Through these sites, Zak hopes to engage parents in meaningful discus sions about mealtime challenges and successes so that other parents around the world can learn and benefit from the experiences of people who’ve been there.

That goal will also carry over to the new interactive section of Zak’s Web site,www.zak.com. The Mealtime Fun Zone will provide a Forum where parents can discuss common mealtime issues such as getting kids to eat healthy foods, ideas for fun ways to introduce new tastes, and tips on getting kids involved with cooking. The Mealtime Fun Zone also includes a recipe exchange where parents can upload some of their child’s favorite recipes and browse for some new ones to try. Parents will also be able to sign up to receive special product information from Zak and explore links to sites that provide some valuable parenting resources.

“The beauty of social media is that it allows businesses to connect with consumers in a way that’s never been possible before,” said Irv Zakheim, Presi dent and CEO of Zak Designs.

“We’re very excited to hear from the people around the world who use Zak products so we can better understand the things we’re doing that work for both parents and children, as well as the areas where we can do a better job of making mealtime fun.”
