South Tampa, FL – Easter is the second busiest holiday of the year — second only to Christmas — for those who practice the dark and delicious art of chocolate making.

Steven Ashworth is the owner, founder and “chef chocolatier” of Ashworth Artisan Chocolate Gallery in South Tampa’s Hyde Park. He makes literally thousands of Artisan chocolate truffles during the Easter season.

“Each truffle is hand dipped and decorated — this takes a lot of hours but the results are worth it,” he said. “All the truffles are made from scratch and one of our secrets to the exquisite taste is the ganache of each of the truffles is made with pure Belgian chocolate and fresh cream.”
