In 2005, Ball Ponder caught wind that her family’s 100-year-old jewelry business was closing as her grandmother was no longer able to run it.  She relocated to Akron, Ohio, and purchased the business from her family. Breathing new life back into the business, she remodeled, rebranded and relaunched as a fine jewelry and gift boutique. Henry B Ball West just celebrated its 102^nd year under the watch of its fourth-generation owner.
