Ocean City Resort Gift Expo cancels November show

The Ocean City Resort Gift Expo, scheduled to begin on Nov. 15, has been canceled due to new government mandates that have limited indoor gatherings to 25 people or less. The following statement was released on its website to address the cancelation:

“It’s with heavy heart that we announce that the 2020 Ocean City Resort Gift Expo that was scheduled to start this Sunday, November 15th has been cancelled due to new government mandates.

Last night, November 10, 2020, the Governor of Maryland held a press conference that limited indoor gatherings to 25 people or less – Read more here.

We are saddened by this turn of events, but please know that we will assist you in every way possible to continue to support your company. We have posted the show directory online so that you can still reach out to vendors for your sourcing needs.

Although we won’t be able to meet in Ocean City this year, we would love to see you at the Grand Strand Gift & Resort Merchandise Show still scheduled to take place December 6-9, 2020 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Please contact our team at oceancitygiftshow@clarionevents.com if you would like to rollover your registration to this event.

If you booked your hotel through Connections, they will automatically cancel your hotel reservation and you will receive a cancellation letter from your hotel. There is no penalty for this cancellation. If you had a reservation at the Aloft Ocean City hotel, the hotel will be refunding your one night’s room and tax deposit (please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect on your statement). No further action is required from you in regard to your hotel reservation.  If you have any additional questions, please contact Connections Housing at 404-842-0000. Reservations not booked through Connections will need to be cancelled by you directly ASAP.
