Educational programs extend open-year-round opportunities at AmericasMart Atlanta

New educational opportunities are on tap for International Market Centers‘ (IMC) open-year-round resource offerings at AmericasMart Atlanta this spring, with a webinar discussing business boundaries on May 31 and a “Lunch & Learn” session on color trends during the next Market Wednesday on June 7.

“IMC is committed to maintaining and expanding our connection with retailers and designers by offering informative programming – both virtually and in-person – throughout the year,” said Dorothy Belshaw, executive vice president and chief growth officer of IMC. “The coming educational sessions are a valuable extension of the extensive resources in gift, home and apparel that are open daily at AmericasMart Atlanta.”

A webinar, “Boundaries: Setting Them, Holding Them, Loving Them,” will be presented by business coach Justine Clay on Wednesday, May 31, at 1 p.m. EST. This course will explore how to identify top priorities, define individual capacities and aim to provide a road map for weaving boundaries into every aspect of a business.

Clay began her career in creative representation, launching her coaching business in 2010. Since then, she has been helping freelance creatives and entrepreneurs of all types build thriving careers. Clay teaches her clients how to position, market and profit from their individual expertise through one-on-one coaching, group programs, talks and workshops.

This workshop is free to register for interior designers and trade professionals.

IMC’s next Market Wednesday, on June 7, will feature an Atlanta’s 2023 Color Trends “Lunch & Learn” panel discussion, sponsored by Sherwin-Williams and Modern Luxury Interiors, 12-1 p.m. in Building 1, Floor 14, Seminar Space. Moderated by Jenna Muller, publisher at Modern Luxury Interiors Atlanta, this panel includes some of the most talented names in the design industry sharing their insights on the latest color directions: Ashley Hill, owner and principal designer, A SPACE Home + Design; Rachel Moeller, designer account executive, Sherwin-Williams; Sara Morris, principal interior designer, Morris Design Co.; and Calvin Watt, principal interior designer, The C’vion Company. On Market Wednesday, free lunch will be available to all buyers. Free parking also will be provided in the Building 2 deck located at 230 Ted Turner Drive in downtown Atlanta.

AmericasMart Atlanta’s 400-plus open-year-round showrooms present nearly 2,000 lines in home décor, gift and apparel. In Building 1, the home decor collection features 180+ showrooms, with 390 lighting, accent furniture, rugs, wall décor, casual furniture and linens brands; 100-plus commercial design brands; and 43 casual furnishings and outdoor furniture brands.
