He currently has three shops, and the one on Clark Street is visibly located on a main street in Chicago’s hot Andersonville neighborhood. His two FOURSIDED shops include picture-framing services while TWOSIDED is exclusively a gift shop.
As would be expected, art prints are among Mack’s best-selling category with the Chicago skyline piece by Enfiniti Design leading the pack. Although the section is small, the baby corner is filled with cute onesies, books and puzzles for the newborn to toddler set. And since FOURSIDED does offer picture-framing services, his team of professionals can easily make things like ticket stub or wine stopper boxes at the ready.
Clever merchandising using antiques or county fair finds focuses on creating a sense of nostalgia as customers are drawn to both the vintage items as well as new pieces.
