Some people see life through rose-colored glasses. Jamie Meares sees it through a kaleidoscope. In 2009, as an extension of her popular lifestyle blog I Suwannee, Meares opened Furbish Studio, a charming 2000-sq. ft. shop stocked with gifts and home décor that reflect her love of daring colors and splashy patterns.

Located in a turn-of-the-century warehouse in downtown Raleigh, a bright pink door welcomes customers who experience inspiring vignettes, unexpected colors, vintage textiles, and global accents. An eclectic range of accessories for the home, stationery, gifts, artwork and jewelry fill the brightly lit shop, along with unique tabletop items, coffee table books and special selections from Jonathan Adler, John Robshaw, Tulu Textiles and Dash & Albert.
