Ivy Hill owner Hillary Dutcher came up with her boutique’s name by combining the “feminine, classic” name, Ivy, with Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood. The store has been in the Central West End for four years now, but got its start in Columbus, Ohio. After the Columbus start, this St. Louis gal and her husband returned to town. She says she can’t imagine being anywhere else but the CWE. “There’s a good energy, a good buzz and the neighborhood wants to support us,” Dutcher says. From casual to cocktail, Ivy Hill has dresses, denim and tops to fit the bill.
