Discover What’s New and Noteworthy at Las Vegas Market

Exciting Exhibitor Experiences with Stephen Young and Fine Lines

(Sponsored) Offering buyers and designers an effective and efficient experience, Las Vegas Market provides thousands of cross-category gift, home décor, and furniture products. While there are plenty of opportunities to source exciting products and develop meaningful connections at Market, part of what makes Las Vegas a destination like no other are the buyer experiences and exceptional service offered by their exhibitors.

One such exhibitor is Stephen Young, founder and president of Stephen Young in Los Angeles, who has served as a sales representative for the gift industry since 1965. Stephen Young represents the best in contemporary and classic design, home, and personal accessories. He also represents various world-leading publishers of travel and lifestyle books, children’s books, journals, calendars, and more.

“At our showroom in Las Vegas, buyers can expect an experience,” Young said. “Our job is to make whatever we’re showing visually and emotionally appealing to the buyer. We work very hard on displays, fixtures, lighting, color and overall hospitality.”

Popular brands Young will show in Las Vegas include major publishers such as Random House, Chronicle, Harry Abrams and more. The showroom also offers a diverse range of personal care products and popular children’s brands, such as Jellycat Inc., Milkbarn, and Elegant Baby.

Young enjoys exhibiting brands at Las Vegas Market because of its popularity, hospitality and the professional and collaborative relationship he’s developed with the Market.

“Las Vegas Market is run by fabulous people who really support the tenants,” Young said. “It truly feels like a partnership and I really enjoy the working relationship. I am so thrilled to be a part of a growing market. Attending the Las Vegas Market has given us the next ‘stepping stone’ in growth for our business.”

Another exhibitor who understands the significance of customer experience is Mathew Katzenson, founder and CEO of Fine Lines in Los Angeles. Katzenson has represented fashion, gift, and home décor industry leaders in the Western United States for over 30 years.

This summer, buyers can explore their recently expanded showroom and source product in the new 20,000 square foot space. The additional space provides more opportunities to showcase popular categories such as stationery, fashion, fragrance, home décor, and children’s products.

“Expanding our showroom will help refine ourselves and take our business to the next level,” Katzenson said. “We have the opportunity to integrate ideas and thoughts that are important to us.”

Katzenson’s goal at Las Vegas Market is to elevate the customer experience by providing additional resources for retailers, such as merchandising seminars and interactive workshops with by-appointment customers.

“We’ll really be supporting the retailer at the market and incentivizing them to come make appointments and do their work in our showroom,” Katzenson said.

Katzenson’s favorite thing about Las Vegas Market? The overwhelming amount of support from International Market Centers (IMC) and their “welcoming nature” to buyers.

“Las Vegas Market is a state-of-the-art complex,” Katzenson said. “The management team at IMC has always been an incredible partner for Fine Lines and always supports the growth of our business. That has been really integral in our success and our customer reach.”
